Trying to decide what electric cutout i want to get. Should I go with the QTP cut out or the Race Ready Performance. Here are the links to both of them. RRP comes with lifetime where as QTP is 4 year but RRP is $70 more. I have heard RRP hold up better and the motor doesnt go out like the QTP and the RRP just seems heavier duty and better built.

O and i was wondering if i should cut out my single cat when i put on my electric cutout.. Is it worth it?

QTP

Thanks for the input.

My first QTP went bad shortly..the motor ceased. I bought another (did not know about RRP) and took it easy on it and it lasted.

Now that I know about RRP I would probably go with it since I heard it was designed better with a better motor like you said.

Sounds like you answered you own questions. You can't beat a better motor AND a lifetime warranty for 70 bucks more. That alone would sell me. I got an electric cutout way back in 2001 and went with a McCord. Not sure if those are made anymore. It lasted about a year before the motor fell apart. He did send me a brand new unit though to replace it.
